Setting up my 3DS old
Overview
As I wrote recently in my blog post, I got myself a 3DS. It's a old but I plan to upgrade someday... Anyways. I want to primarly play some
classic games on it and figure out how to do streetpass and online services at all on this thing, despite all of that being region locked by the russian gov.
So day 1, I discorvered that QR downloads through FBI from the hshop just did not work. As well as the standalone app for the hshop. Tried sending the connection through a VPN, no results yet, have to tinker with it more.
But I did find out that you can send file from and to the 3DS remotely through FTP. So that basically solved the issue, just had to download the .cia and send it through FTP. Makes it more complex but you do what you gotta do.
For now, I am looking through the 3DS library on what to play, Animal Crossing and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate are definetly on my radar.
As soon as I get the games I want installed I will start messing with this thing. And I will share anything cool here.
